Coming this month, we are launching the first-ever ROMY-Con Online Fan Convention, open to ROMY lovers of all ages, worldwide! ROMY-Con is FREE to "attend" and run and supported by donors and volunteer members of ROMY Nation.
Romy-Con will be held June 15th - June 21st, 2025 coinciding with the popular Tumblr fan event Rogue/Gambit Week. There is a limited time ROMY-Con discord server which will be activated during the event to allow ROMY-Nation to unite, network, and discuss our favorites under one digital roof. We have several "panels" planned which will be posted on the discord, including FOUR celebrity Q & A's where panelists respond to some of your submitted questions!
Within the discord there will also be a quick fanfic and fanart competition with amazing prizes as well as a place to link your works to share with others!
Two virtual "main events" will be held during the convention, a Gambit and Rogue Cosplay Contest, and a virtual Artist's Alley for ROMY-focused online shopping. Entries for both events are NOW CLOSED. There are no admission fees and events are free to enter.
Artist Alley and Cosplay submissions will be posted and "open" to the public starting the 15th of June here on ROMY-Con.com.
Winners of the cosplay contest will be posted until next years ROMY-Con for ultimate bragging rites! This event will be the largest Rogue and Gambit-specific cosplay contest ever!

It will open the week prior to the start of the event, and will close one week after to allow enough time for users to make connections with other ROMY fans!
There will also be special content posted in the Discord for you to view and participate in- including a fanwork contest, a raffle featuring awesome prizes, digital "badge ribbon" collection and our celebrity Q & A content!

Cosplayers
The virtual cosplay contest is open to all ages and skill levels, and is based off of photo submissions. Winners will be crowned for Best Gambit, Best Rogue, and Best Couple, which will receive special prizes.
All winners including subcategory and category winners will receive digital award certificates, and have their cosplay photos displayed in a winners gallery until the next ROMY-Con during Rogue/Gambit Week 2026!

Celebrity guest judges including
A.J. LoCascio, the voice of Gambit in X-Men 97, Lenore Zann the voice of Rogue in X-Men 97 and X-Men the Animated Series, and Emmett Yonemura the director of "Remember It" have donated their time and will be picking some additional special cosplay category award winners who will receive additional prizes! Artists
The Virtual Artist Alley is open to artists who fit the following criteria: You must produce your own art (no resellers or AI) you have to offer ROMY art (stickers, prints, keychains, etc) for sale somewhere online, and you need to have an online storefront to refer visitors to to purchase that art (Etsy, Patreon, Teespring, Redbubble, etc). Family friendly content, please.

For those who are looking to "shop ROMY" and support the arts, there will be a Virtual Artist Alley open between June 15 and 21st where you can purchase items from ROMY creatives. The "alley" will consist of submitted images and links to online shops in one convenient location, posted for the duration of the event.
There is also ROMY-Con and ROMY Nation Specific Swag on Spreadshirt if you want to rep your participation in the convention. You can choose from a ROMY-Con design or one of two Romy Nation shirts located here and here. Proceeds from shirt sales go to support fees for the website/discord server, and help with any setup expenses, awards, or advertising related to the promotion of the convention.

What is rogue/gambit week?
Rogue/Gambit week is a yearly fan event celebrating all versions of Romy across the Multiverse – comics, animated series, movies – and encourages all forms of fanworks–fanfic, fanart, fanedits, gif sets, and any other creative talent you wish to share based off of a series of prompts.
Fans post their submissions online and tag them #Rogue/GambitWeek2025 #RomyWeek2025 for others to see and enjoy.
